welcome to LONDON MOORGATE
Our London Moorgate campus is situated in the heart of the City of London, close to leading global law firms and excellent transport links.
About London Moorgate
Our newly refurbished campus is close to both underground and mainline train stations such as Moorgate, Farringdon and Liverpool Street and is walking distance from other underground stations such as Bank and Old Street. This well-connected campus is in the middle of the finance district and is near to the biggest names in the legal industry. The area is buzzing with City workers enjoying the many pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. It is also close to vibrant areas such as Shoreditch, Hoxton and Spitalfields with their excellent shopping, art and fashion scenes.
Moorgate is a modern and spacious campus which recently benefitted from a refurbishment which replicates the modern way of working with open plan work and recreational spaces. Having great facilities in the heart of the City means we can host prestigious guest speakers from the legal profession. This campus is also home to ULTRA, the University’s legal technology research academy, and is a technology hub from where we run a coding club, law tech fairs and exciting legal technology activities with outstanding guest speakers from the world of legal tech.
The Moorgate campus has a spacious library, spread across two floors, where there are always plenty of computers and the staff are available to help you with your research. Our newly refurbished reception area and cyber café are used for group study and are great places to socialise in between workshops and lectures.
Whilst studying at Moorgate you will have many opportunities to get involved in a rich sporting and social life and even have the option to start a society yourself.
What sets this campus apart is its location. The campus is surrounded by major law firms, banks and other financial institutions which we have close links to. Our Employability team and Pro Bono unit can give you the opportunity to work with real clients, check your CV and conduct mock interviews to prepare you for the world of work.
At London Moorgate, our lecturers and staff are dedicated to helping you achieve your education and career ambitions. If you’re studying law with us, you will be able to benefit from our lecturers’ expertise from their previous experience as qualified lawyers, many of them having been solicitors and partners at leading law firms.
