Graduation Hints and Tips

Being prepared for graduation is crucial, knowing where to go, what to bring etc, so below is our checklist of different elements to consider before coming to graduation.

Download the graduation steps here.

  • Either add your e-ticket to your wallet, download the PDF or screenshot yours and your guests e-tickets. Signal in The Barbican is limited so better to prepare this ahead of time.
  • Graduation gowns like to move around as you move through out the day especially over dresses, so bringing a brooch or pin to fasten the gown to your clothing can be helpful.
  • As a Graduand you will return to your assigned seat, meaning you are able to leave items at yours seat as you cross the stage e.g. your bag, comfortable shoes, etc.

Timings for your ceremonies are very important and knowing them in advance can help you plan everything from travel arrangements to celebration meals after graduation.
