Eduroam is an international initiative that allows students and staff from an eduroam participating educational institution to gain secure Wi-Fi access at any eduroam participating institution.
We provide eduroam access to our students and staff in all campus buildings, as well as visitors from other eduroam participating institutions. A list of eduroam participating institutions and the level of service they provide is available here.
When using eduroam you must adhere to The University of Law IT Acceptable Use Policy and also to the eduroam (UK) Policy.
Connecting to eduroam
The simplest and securest way to connect to eduroam is by using the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool.
Please follow one of the how to guides below to use eduroam CAT:
Alternatively, you can manually configure your device to connect to eduroam using the guidance below. N.B. Your eduroam username is your University of Law email address and your password is the one you use to log into a University of Law computer
- On your device, select the Wi-Fi network eduroam
- Login using your email address and password
- If prompted, accept the certificate (IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the certificate you are trusting is issued by the University of Law Certificate Authority: msad-TH-P-AS1-CA-CA)
Advanced settings
If required, please check that your device is using the configuration settings below:
- Wireless Security: WPA2-Enterprise
- Wireless Encryption: AES authentication
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2

If you are from a visiting institution and are having issues connecting to eduroam at The University of Law, you will need to contact your IT Support Department at your home institution.
University of Law students and staff are required to remove the eduroam Wi-Fi profile from their devices when their association with the University ends.
